These traditional structures act as deep maps into the rural psyche of Appalachia. Our 34th edition Simple Lifestyle Calendar features striking photographs from an assortment of talented artists, shares mountain homesteads and heritage, and all the various ways in which to celebrate nature and the Simple Life.
Here's what folks are saying...
Many thanks for the inspiration, sage
advice, and beauty. This calendar is my
favorite gift to give... my friends and family
love receiving it (after 5+ years theyve come
to expect it!!) and I love the points of contact
it gives us throughout the year.
Melissa Urdahl - Ozone Park, NY
A Kentucky friend has sent your calendar
in past years. Now I find I miss it. I lived in
Kentucky for twelve years before moving to
Oregon. These are the top two biologically
diverse spots in the U.S. Your calendar is a
reminder of this. Thank you and keep doing
what you do so well.
Ann Disalvo - Ashland, OR
"Thanks once again for putting together a
wonderful calendar-it helps to keep me centered.
Karen Hinchen - Roslindale, MA
A Christmas tradition for us for 20 years!
Beth Nichols - Indianola, WA
"Im preparing a bible study on Acts as a
part of my ordination requirements. Id like
to use challenge statements with each
days reading, using some of the ones you
had on the 2009 calendar.
