Features 100-acre site with cordwood building demonstrations; examples of solar space and water heating, total solar house, solar greenhouses, cisterns, constructed wetlands, five types of compost toilets, yurt, dome, organic gardens, camping sites and pavilions, and miles of hiking.

 

Mary E. Fritsch Nature Center
Self-guided tours of forest and lands surrounding the Rockcastle demonstration site are available, as well as hiking along some 5 miles of nature trails. The Nature Center includes research, forest advocacy, and various educational materials - available upon request.
